the torii at Nikko

Dear Diry,

Today I started skool. Mummy made me get up realy early and I yonned all the way throo my snap, crackil and pop. Then Mummy made me have a bath, even tho today isnt saterday, and she shaved my head again.

Then she helped me put on my yoonifom, which is a blue skirt and a wite shirt and a yukky oranj brazer which is horribil and stuffy. Also I wanted to ware the pretty leef mask that Aunty Maddy bringed to me from Eetaleea for my birthday. It's my favorit but Mummy made me ware the boring black one.

`Remember not to take it off,' she told me like she always does.

Skool was great. I made lots of frends and they wanted to ware my mask, but of corse I wasnt allowed to take it off but I promissed that I would bring my other masks in tomorrow and they could ware them.

The teecher wasnt very nice to me tho. We did some arifmetik and I put my hand up and said how Aunty Maddy says that sometimes 2 plus 2 eekwals 5. Miss Pringil was very angry with me and said that Aunty Maddy was wrong and that I shoodnt listen to her. I started to cry but she didnt notice becos of the mask and kept saying nasty things.

Pol was realy mean too. He pulled Karins hair then called me a boldy becos I dont have any. Its not fair. When Mummy picked me up after skool I asked her if I could ware a wig like Aunty Maddy.

`When your older,' she said. Mummy always says that.

I asked Mummy what a freek is and she got upset and told me not to listen to peeple who call me names. She said that I was byootiful inside. I thot that was realy nice.

I wish I didnt have to ware a mask but bad things happen if I dont. One time the lady from soshal services barjed into the house without nocking and Aunty Maddy wasnt waring her mask. The lady screemed realy loud and fell over. It was very funny but Mummy and Aunty Maddy were upset.

Mummy says my frends wont like me if I take my mask off.

Goodnight Diry.
